TRIBHANG presents The Heroine - a Trilogy. The Trilogy celebrates a rich amalgam of poetry, music and dance through stories of three remarkable women, our Heroines, from the pages of history. Experience a visual treat through lyrical and rhythmic story-telling of three world-renowned performers in Oddisi - Ipsita Sathpathy, Bharatanatyam - Shoba Natarajan and Kathak - Kiran Chouhan.

Shoba will essay the main role of Andal along with her students Akshita Komatireddy, Lima Bagchi, Saispurthi Palavalli, Smitha Kaipa & Vandana Iyengar in supporting cast.
Andal grew up in holy surroundings and was deeply immersed in bhajans and stories and Lord Krishna. As she grew up her love for Lord Krishna increased and she was determined to marry him -a goal she achieved. Rehearsals are in full swing and this is a very unique opportunity to see these three diverse styles of dance on one stage. Please do attend the event with your families.
