Samskriti in the community...

Shoba has been a very active member of the community. She has conducted workshops not only in the US, but also in India with great success. Apart from reaching out to the general population, Shoba has a special place in her heart for differently abled children and has started a wonderful initiative to extend dance/music to these children and include them in these programs.

• The foundation has started a special music & creative movement program for the differently abled children. It is a music and dance program held on a monthly basis. Click here to learn more.
• Samskriti organized "Rasaanubhavam: An interactive exploration of Raga, Rasa & Rhythm"  as part of its Anubhava series
• Shoba organized a Kuchipudi workshop in Chennai which was received with great enthusiasm. We had a very good turnout of dancers trained in both Bharatanatyam & Kuchipudi.
